India breaks attendance record for the FIFA U-17 World Cup


Debutant FIFA hosts India broke the record for the highest attendance at an U-17 FIFA World Cup, after 13,47,133 spectators turned up to witness the tournament. Each of the 52 matches at six venues across the country saw an average attendance of 25,906.
